      Paid well with great benefits, but staffing issues persist

      Pros

      Paid well, union facility, free health benefits, and low cost dental and vision.

      Cons

      Staffing is terrible due to high turnover, so we rarely lunches or breaks, and go out of ratio sometimes. They tell you that you can self schedule but rarely do. They tell you only 3 to 4 weekend days are required but will have you work every weekend. Some depts are very toxic, and cliquey.

      Pros

      -great coworkers who help each other but depends on the unit -night shift -7.50 night shift differential - pay raise after completing first year with hospital -union

      Cons

      -inconsistency with lunches and breaks -frequently not getting lunch -not enough pct on nights -hospital is switching to cheaper equipment for new buildings -high acuity patients -Kaiser transfers all their sick patients here
