Pros

RRI was an outstanding company to work for prior to the forced "resignation", exile and subsequent death of former President and CEO Dr. Marvin King.

Cons

The people who took over are ruthless and unethical.

Pros

There are some very dedicated, hard-working individuals here but if you aren't in lockstep with leadership who are desperately clinging to their jobs, it's akin 7th circle of hell.

Cons

Beware....job was nothing like I was sold it was. Riverside structure is an inverse triangle..middle management point fingers and their leadership spends the bulk of their time figuring out ways not to be the target of the CEO's tyrannical, childish hissy fits or victim of his next hare-brained idea. Cult-like leadership is just riding it out until they retire. CEO claims he's creating a destination company, sadly it's more akin to a dumpster fire. If you enjoy being screamed at and insulted, by a man-child CEO, this is the place for you!

Pros

Pay is fair and at market rate for location. Benefits are far above what smaller companies offer in the DoD space. Being a 501c(3) company means no knee jerk "Quarterly" thinking -- long range business planning and investment can, and does, occur. The company has a diversified business base which allows some flexibility in new assignments. The company has won, and tries to win, long term contracts. The company management I worked with at Riverside is the best I've had in the last 10 years.

Cons

Majority of work population is embedded at customer sites. If the customer is good and sane, you'll have a good work environment. If not, the company will listen, but can't do much. Contracts come and go, but transition plans for when the contract ends to move good employees doesn't happen or happens in the "11th hour" and is rushed and not well coordinated.
