Pros

Great techs and willingness to help each other out.

Cons

Lack of training for new hires/ internal promotion and due to the demand expected there's a quick turnover. Like in other comments extremely high demand and not competitive in pay for all things asked of you as a tech. No regular salary increase or even personal reviews. Nothing offered always need to ask for any kind of training.

Pros

Avoid this place. Managers are extreme micro managers. They don’t care for their employees, during COVID they had capacity to have everyone work from home but because they’re such micro managers they need everyone in office for no reason. Just so they call you into their office because they don’t know how to use Teams effectively to communicate. Pay is good until they start having you do way more than what is on job description then when you ask for pay raise they do their best to avoid it. There’s no work culture here you just sit at your cubicle maybe talk to people around you but gotta make sure manager doesn’t listen because again micromanaging. Expect everything to not work and constantly be having to remind manager to fix it so you can get your work done. Manager will grunt and moan like whenever you ask him to do something, expect to hear words like “that’s r-word” when something breaks.... They have no system at all here. Ownership will have you work on one thing one day then completely change it the next.

Cons

Horrible management, Horrible benefits, Things constantly not working

Our employees are our biggest assets, we are saddened to hear that you did not have a good experience. We have an open-door policy and always encourage employee feedback, unfortunately if we are not aware that there is an issue it is difficult for us to address the situation. Suggestions are always welcome and often result in positive shifts in the company. While remote working was possible for some staff, being a critical infrastructure business, it was imperative to allow staff to return to the office when it was possible. However, we have continued to follow local and CDC guidelines and did not resume normal office business operations until it was completely acceptable to do so. Whereby we continued to take precautions to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers. Furthermore, as an IT Professional fixing and enhancing the technology of the company would be a vital job duty that would be expected from anyone in this role. It would be expected that our IT Specialists would have the ability to troubleshoot, resolve and recommend first line issues, upgrades and similar. Expectations are developed based on a number of factors, experience, length of service and related skills. Again, I am sorry to hear that you did not find your position to be conducive to your expectations as an IT Specialist but wish you nothing but success in your future endeavors.
