Pros

Some of the best people I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Full-time telecommute available in certain cases Flexible work hours Benefits are okay

Cons

Flexible hours and the ability to work from home are the only things preventing most people from leaving for greener pastures. There are several senior roles specifically within IT that are currently populated by individuals who are in no way qualified to make high-level decisions that will alter the corporate trajectory in an irrevocable manner. It's heartbreaking to see such wasted potential when there is so much talent available within the immediate vicinity.

Pros

As per the "family values", people company-wide are mostly nice — but they're hard-pressed to recall, let alone embody, any other values. Work/life balance is "good", because the majority of people rarely work hard or feel true accountability.

Cons

A culture of "be nice" fosters rampant passive aggression and insincerity. The management style is yes-men kowtowing to family owners while ineffective and miserably concocted projects rule the day.

Pros

The ONLY good thing about this company is the work life balance.

Cons

I worked for SanMar for 7 months, in my time there I was treated unkindly and unfairly by the management team for Inside Sales. This company expects you to uphold their “family values” but management does not follow those same values! I had been targeted by one of the Inside sales managers since the beginning of working here. I was continuously targeted and accused of multiple things, without solid evidence to prove that I had done the things they were accusing me of. I was told multiple times by the manager that I would not receive a bonus, with a smile on her face like it made her happy. I would get smirked at, scoffed at, treated like a liar. I was exceeding my standards when I first started, after sharing about my learning disability, I noticed a huge change in my performance/”mistakes” I was making, and noticed that I was being accused of more and more things with a continued lack of evidence. This company does not value their employees, and will fire you if you are sick and need to leave.
