Pros

None come to mind. Maybe if you can find a way to become part of the good 'ol boys club.

Cons

Following advice we've all certainly heard in our lives, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." So, . . . .

Pros

Health insurance was great, employees were generally friendly, most employees worked as a team.

Cons

Unprofessional managers. No respect for a college degree, mine was even in the field. I was a management trainee, one manager literally told me "if you don't use it you lose it" in respect to her degree and laughed! I did not just pay ~100,000 to not use my degree! That manager has since been promoted! Seaboard lives in constant paranoia about animal rights activist. Also, nursery farms only have one employee on the farm, and with no cell phones allowed you better hope you don't get injured out on the farm. Very unprofessional atmosphere and they burned through lower level employees quite frequently. I was getting paid well if I was only working a 40 hour a week full time job but I was averaging around 60-65 hours/week

Management through fear

Pros

Health plan is top notch. Co-workers were great.

Cons

Management style is fear and intimidation. Everyone constantly lived in fear of a dressing down in front of co-workers or a letter of poor performance. Unprofessional managers. No respect for a college degree. Office politics poisoned the atmosphere, too. Productivity suffered because of fear and lack of recognition of good performance.
