      Pros

      While they take advantage of desperate people, if your desperate enough, anything is better then nothing.

      Cons

      You have to be willing to leave your moral values at the door when working with this company. They are out for profit at any cost. Government fraud, lying, and taking advantage of the elderly is not beneath them. The only thing they care less about then the client is the employee. Denying pay for hours worked is a regular practice and there is no standard procedure for grievances except to quite. There is no HR.

      The Gem program is very useful.

      Cons

      CEO at the location is a joke. Office staff is ran like a cult and they only care about the money not the clients or care givers. They keep money from clients and make up rules as they go.

      Flexible schedule/hours. No experience needed

      Cons

      Too many to list! No benefits, terrible pay, no mileage reimbursement, and they do not pay for new hire training! They are literally the lowest paying company for the hardest work. I honestly would never let my relatives be under the care from senior Helpers, they hire inexperienced individuals who have no sense of health care. Managers will constantly call employees to work 12hr shifts just an hour before the shift starts. 12hr shifts include no lunch break either! Like I had mentioned before, back breaking work for barley above minimum wage.
