Great program & built a lot of skills
Pros
Sherwin-Williams gave me the tools I needed to run a store. My training manager wasn't the greatest - I actually learned more from one of the part-timers that had been there for 30+ years. I liked the hands-on learning piece. Once I completed the program, they insisted on 'floating' me through 3 stores in the area because of high turnover (they couldn't get enough people to be assistant managers). I ended up quitting because I wanted stability and consistency daily (these locations were so spread apart; one was 1.5 hours to get to). Overall, SW is a great company to work for, I just lost interest over time.
Cons
Working on the weekends (when your store manager refused to work Saturday/Sundays), dealing with angry or rude contractors, pay was mediocre.
