Pros

You get to drink beer and wine on Friday. They have good benefits. That's all they really have going for themselves. After 3 months you'll finally open your eyes of all the negative.

Cons

Politics atmosphere. It's very sexist as well. I am very observant and what I see on a daily basis is negative. T&I works hard with no recognition, accounting works harder with no recognition, support never gets recognized nor gets to do outside "fun" team building activities, the sales development representative gets their calls screened the entire time pretty much. Sales executives have said to new team members, " you can't joke around like that. You need to earn that privilege." (That should make a person feel welcomed after three months, right?) A lot of sales executive have gotten fired after being placed on 30day performance plan and these 30 days only last 1 week maybe 2 if you're lucky.

Started out seeming pretty promising however it quickly began to fade

Pros

Flexible hours in training. Employees are funny although all of them are disgruntled and broke due to lack of commissions. What you are told when you are hired is a complete fallacy.

Cons

Micromanaging like you wouldn't believe. Quotas double monthly when no one is hitting them unless they are fed inbound leads to the favorites. Company culture is supposedly fun, but they watch everything you do. Monitor and listen to your calls in their free time for "coaching" aka reprimanding. High daily call minutes requirement. You are selling to an industry that is not receptive. Even if you do get a sale the back end support is not interested in helping you keep it so you often lose your sales when they go to training. The product is over priced and you often lose sales to competitors charging a tenth of what we do. High stress, low reward. 5 months later and not a single commission check. I made a wrong career decision and I'm trying to prevent others from doing the same.

Pros

Great pay is the only pro for this company!

Cons

This place runs like a high school from the movie "Mean Girls." Be careful getting into clicks and watch what you say. The management and staff are unable to be trusted from the bottom up.

I've been called many things across the course of my career but I've never been called a mean girl before! On a more serious note, it sounds like you are having a really bad time of it, if you would like to have a chat and get some support I'd be happy to try and help, I'm at charlie.milne@siteminder.com
