Pros

One flag: I work in the Marketing Department, understand that different teams can potentially have different experiences - You’ll work with very talented people who have interesting and diverse backgrounds. Although some branches of the organization are political, people are extremely respectful and tolerant of differing views — nobody is pushing an agenda. I’m liberal and progressive, and in the couple of years I’ve been here, I’ve never once felt uncomfortable because of my views. Not once. - The “challenge” culture is meaningful and unique — it makes strategies more intentional, though that often means things take longer than expected. - As of 2026 and a couple of years in, I can confirm the positive things I’d read about this place. It does depend on the team, but the majority of people you’ll encounter here are not only great at what they do — they’re also genuinely good human beings, which makes it a great place to come to work. - Facilities are well-equipped, beautiful, and comfortable, situated in what is honestly the best building in the area. - Unlimited PTO and solid benefits. Most teams also offer real flexibility to WFH, even though in-office five days a week is technically expected. - The opportunity to make lateral moves or explore new career paths is very real here. There are plenty of people who’ve started pivot careers within the community and become stellar professionals in areas far from where they began.

Cons

- The flex desk situation is frustrating — if you forget to book a spot you’ve used for months, you can lose it overnight. - Raises and bonuses are possible, but you need to be proactive about tracking your contributions and making your case. Spot bonuses do happen when your work shines, but they’re not automatic — you have to advocate for yourself. HR Leadership (HRLs) can be a helpful resource in that process. That said, it does take time, and that’s understandably a sticking point for some people. - Some managers are brilliant individuals who simply aren’t cut out to be managers — but that’s something you’ll encounter anywhere.
