Pros

Fantastic Co-Workers. Decent Work Hours.

Cons

Management, Power Trips, Lack of informative answers (managers and higher ups usually have the same cookie cutter answer to any suggestions, questions, or concerns you give) VERY old machinery & equipment that can't get the job done efficiently or with quality and they tend to blame that on the employee's "awareness." Highest turn-over rate i've ever witnessed.. was there almost two years and could count the managers/employees quit/fired with both hands.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you feel that Management did not provide you with direct and informative answers to your questions or suggestions. We place a high value on feedback from our employees which is demonstrated in the time we have invested in utilizing our Employee Feedback Platform- Officevibe. I want to assure you that management takes all suggestions, questions and concerns into consideration and will discuss at great length if we think a change or improvement can be made. While some machinery in the shop may be older, we are always looking for ways to further invest in our equipment. We do train and expect our employees to be an integral part of preventative maintenance to maintain the quality of our machines. Studco feels that the right people are our greatest asset, and while turnover may fluctuate, those employees who align to our culture, values and mission we work to retain and provide growth opportunities and career progression. Thank you for your service to Studco, We hope your next opportunity is a better fit for you!

Pros

The hours and former CFO.

Cons

The owner treats his employees in an abusive way. Screaming at them and letting them know that he is above them in every way. Not professional.

Thank you for your feedback. As an organization we do encourage and often engage in robust conversations among our key management team. We feel that challenging each other to think outside of the box and to be creative, innovative and accountable is the only way for us to grow as an organization. While we are not afraid to challenge each other, it is always done in a respectful manner. We do not take allegations of verbal abuse lightly, and hope that our employees will also not make these allegations in an effort to convey discontent with their experience at our company, which can occur for many reasons. We often find that those who are not successful at Studco are those who lack the ability to communicate, challenge themselves (and others) and be accountable. With that being said, for those with a great work ethic and desire to grow professionally and collaborate with others, we provide a great environment for this and would encourage you to consider applying.

As you have stated that you are a former employee, I'd question your ability to comment on the recent improvements that we have made within our organization which are driving our employee engagement in a positive direction and positive reviews and feedback onto our social media websites. Clearly during your time with Studco you experienced fundamental differences with Executive Management. This can happen as not everyone will always see eye to eye and we understand that. Your title states you were a Production Supervisor, and in that role you would have been empowered to support and execute a safe working environment. Since the departure of our former Production Management team more than 6 months ago, we have seen an increase in the collaboration with management on safety initiatives and improvements, which prior to that we feel were being purposely deterred. We have also seen our overall staff engagement and happiness increase since we have promoted our staff internally into these leadership roles as we monitor this as well! I'd encourage any potential candidate considering employment with our organization to look to current staff reviews to formulate your own opinion of our organization. I'd also refer candidates to our Instagram and LinkedIn accounts as well to get a true and accurate picture of what our organization stands for and what we are all about!
