Pros

My former colleagues were among the best I've been around. The people hired are typically 5 star - with some glaring exceptions. The image of leadership is 5 star, yet the reality for most is 1 star.

Cons

Senior leadership is hypocritical and not honest. I was personally directed to alter staff timecards to meet billing targets for a particular client, and in general, witnessed months of highly questionable client billing practices. TEECOM has not handled its growth well - that is fairly common knowledge both inside and outside the company. Probably the worst aspect of TEECOM is the hypocrisy. They preach transparency and fair dealing, yet many on the senior leadership team do everything but that. Note: when I interviewed there in early 2018 before I was hired, I asked about some negative comments I read here on Glassdoor, about life/work balance (still an issue, BTW). My concerns then were dismissed by CEO David Marks as "sour grapes from disgruntled former employees". But ask yourself this: if I'm just another "disgruntled former employee", why have 15 - 20 people left the company in the last 18 months? At a company with approx. 100 employees? TEECOM is not what it seems - I would recommend against "drinking the Kool-Aid" - which is liberally dispensed to all new hires, senior and junior. But don't take my word for it. Ask around and do your research - you'll find many great people have left and gone elsewhere.

Pros

-Compensation/benefits are high -Lots of little perks (swag, refreshments, lunches, parties)

Cons

-There is rampant inconsistency between the various teams at this company. Engineers not part of the major corporate account teams are propelled into project management and project administration without support or adequate training, and are left personally holding the bag for project overruns and issues. -The incentive comp plan became a carrot at the end of a stick. In order to ‘break even’ on billing goals, which can be easily missed due to issues outside of an individual’s direct control, engineers are worked at a nonstop fever pitch pace. -The inescapable feeling of being behind and having to catch up on tasks and projects had an incredibly negative impact on my mood, energy and well being while here.

Pros

Great work environment, very social, very up to technology. They provide training for employees as they see it fit. Lots of food, drinks and social interaction.

Cons

Will blindside you when you less expect it. Claims to have an open channel of communication but the reality it's not. You can easily feel betrayed by those you trusted the most.
