Pros
-A place to get your foot in the door for a controls position. -Opportunity to work with people from all over the world. -Great place for networking.
Cons
-Training programs are lacking a dedicated knowledgeable trainer on most occasions. -Most times everyone is too busy to help properly train new employees, proper training doesn't feel like a priority. -Unfinished development of help manuals for self guided learning. -Many sink or swim situations. -Many times the goals you are given to complete for career advancement are only attainable if managers give you the task and that makes it hard to move forward at your own pace. -Have seen a large employee turnover in the past 6 years, especially in the commissioning department.
