Once was great, now a money-hungry mess
Pros
Autonomy and good work-life balance (but shouldn't every company have this?)
Cons
- Base pay is low compared to other companies in Columbus, but they'll claim they've done market research and it's comparable. It's not. - Bonus/commission is capped at 13%. - No more quarterly bonuses, incentives, or company parties. - No more Christmas bonuses - Lack of transparency when it comes to pay and bonuses. - Constant issues and errors when it comes to bonus reports and payouts (shady) - Company laid off half of their employees that worked onsite to give the positions to offshore people in the Philippines, india, and costa rica and pay them pennies comparably. - CEO and website boasts that what makes TM better than the competition is our "centralized recruiting hub " (meaning the employees working together onsite in Columbus)...but he off shored 30+ positions. - Required to work full-time in the office, even though half our co-workers are in other countries. - Culture, attitude, morale, and happiness dropped exponentially around fall of 2021, and continued to get worse since - Insane turnover rate. After over 5 years here, there are MAYBE 6-8 people left from when I started, not including exec. - CEO and VP constantly boast about how much money the company is making, but where is the money? They're not compensating employees well, not back filling people that quit or are fired, and laid off half the company.
