It'll get you the experience to put on your resume, but that's it
Pros
You can say that you have worked in the field.
Cons
You don't actually get the experience you need. Because of the business model, each franchise location operates independently. Yes there are tools that are mandated and there is a community forum to exchange thoughts, but every location has different customers with different needs. You will find that you're often on your own. On top of this, newer locations don't want people to think outside the box. They follow the instructions they are given by corporate to a T. So that means unreasonable deadlines, when things break you are the one to blame. The tools that are mandated are quite horrible to use. Kaseya is the RMM, Autotask is the PSA (now owned by Kaseya), and IT Glue is your documentation (owned by Kaseya). All these tools are owned by the same global conglomerate that does not care about actually making something that is usable or cohesive. Each of these tools barely integrate with each other. It's bearable at best and at worse its hours spent tinkering away.
