Pros

Relaxed work atmosphere. Frequent employee lunches. Decent salary. Opportunity to work from home some.

Cons

Terrible and expensive benefits package. Salary doesn't offset benefit costs. Extremely quiet atmosphere. Almost like working in North Korea. It just feels weird in the office. There is an air of mistrust. Multiple, lengthy interviews. Hidden agendas. Uncomfortable work environment and it's hard to explain exactly what I mean by uncomfortable.

Pros

Flexible, work from home, everyone is very nice and helpful. Great start for young people. This is a good place to start as a career, they give chances to people who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunities. They give the customer a great experience so I think they will continue to grow.

Cons

I didn't follow my instincts and took a job at Tenstreet. Because of all the wonderful reviews, I thought my instincts were wrong. Nobody writes the bad reviews because it is a small company, and therefore is not anonymous. Be careful, this place is wonderful for some people and for others it's miserable. Ask lots of questions about the software, about the environment, and your position’s responsibilities. Most important of all, ask what your manager thinks of you and if they actually want to hire you. They have a panel interview that has a scoring system, so it is possible for you to get hired even if your actual manager doesn’t want you. I would have loved it and never left, but my manager made it clear from the very first week that they didn't want me there.

Pros

People are truly great. Culture is a big deal at Tenstreet. Very competitive pay and on the sales side, commission potential is big. Extraordinary leadership team. The amount of opportunities for growth and advancement is wild. Tenstreet will invest a LOT of time and resources into helping you be successful. Super diverse team. Transition to remote due to COVID was seamless, as some part time remote work, even for Tulsa based employees, was available pre pandemic. Comp is good, benefits are even better. Tenstreet offers paid PATERNITY leave.

Cons

Tough hiring process. Intensive interview process. To be really successful, you're going to have to work really hard. Truly excelling at certain positions, particularly with how fast the company is growing, takes more than 9-5.
