Pros

HR does a great job of finding outstanding talent of like personality. They really know how to find their lemmings, line them up, and package them just right.

Cons

You will simply be pigeon holed into the position you originally applied for with no opportunity for upward mobility available or offered. I met people that had been working there 25 years and were STILL making the same money !!! Don't EVER expect anything more than a 3% raise after many years of hardworking faithful service to a company that caters to Billionaires. They spend 20+million dollars a year for the past 10 years in "capital improvements " but won't bother to set aside $1 million a year to give their 2500 employees raises. They bring in "Slave labor" from Jamaica each year and profit and squeeze every penny they can out of those poor people under the disgusting premise that " We can't find sufficient qualified people here in the US". ( those are their own words to the Palm Beach Post) While pulling housing and transportation out of their already pitiful pay checks. They also make you sign a piece of paper agreeing to allow them to fire you at the drop of a hat without having to give you a reason. So if you are being discriminated against or your manager simply wants your position for a cousin who is willing to work for less , there is nothing you can do. You literally signed your life, dignity, and self respect away with absolutely no recourse.

Pros

Some of my fellow colleagues were great. They hire talented people you can get to know, but do so before they are Breakerized and lost forever. The President of the company is a really good guy. It falls fast from there.

Cons

Management has read every book on the leadership, but it more likely to offer you a quote than actual leadership. It is a very small company filled with entitled and arrogant leadership that wouldn't be otherwise run over in the real world. The GM will make promises left and right, but she will never keep a single one. Cornell graduates will automatically be promoted to low level management even though most of them fail and are inept to lead. This of course is done for the GM's own personal gain. If you are looking to make the minimum and be forced into committing your life away, than work here. Otherwise save yourself the years and look elsewhere. People of color, overweight, or that speak anything but English need not apply. You will never be allowed to see a guest. White, blondes occupy all guest facing positions.

Pros

Benefits, lower level employees awesome and kind and by that the back of the house those who are not seen are so kind, those are the people who make the resort great. They are the cogs that keep the wheels running.

Cons

Aggressive Lower Level Management. Blind Leadership who do not want to hear it and if you say anything no you are the problem and if HR is asked to be involved then watch out and vamp up your resume because now you have done it you have drawn attention to the department and you will be gone ....eventually. Saw this many many MANY times. In theory the Board and Mr. Leone project an All Team we are in it together mentality, but the execution of said "All Team" is just a façade the lower level managers who want recognition and advancement will do WHATEVER to attain that.
