Pros

- Culture (Welcoming, Flexible, Value-Driven) - Collaborative Atmosphere - people value your feedback/input at all levels of the organization - Employee Appreciation - TR truly values their employees (Employee Picnics, Continuous Education/Training, Career Development, Maternity Leave Policy (AMAZING!!!), and the overall Culture makes you feel appreciated and happy to be apart of this wonderful company. - Campus - this building and the campus is beautiful!! I have yet to walk around and explore. - Commute - my commute is so much better now. Makes a huge difference in my stress level not having to sit in traffic for hours! - Work/Family Balance - This company truly "Gets It" when it comes to balance with family and work. This is so important for your well being and state of mind.

Cons

- Communication - sometime with a company this big, it's hard to keep up with what's going on. The notifications are nice, but the come in all sort of directions and it can be a little overwhelming. - Company Structure - I know this is in the works - but it's challenging to know who does what and where! I've only been here a year, so I'm still learning the ropes around here :-)

Pros

Nice Cafeteria. Parking lot is well-lit. Building has an interesting shape. There is a Caribou Coffee on site.

Cons

It's hard to put into words what an awful company this has become ever since the Thomson family purchased it an the family patriarch died. The only thing that the Thomson children want is to maximize how much money they can squeeze from every resource and human being regardless of how callous and mean-spirited. For example, every single year, they have been cutting staff and making the remaining people do more to make up for the employee shortage. For jobs that are critical, they have been offshoring them to India and making the current staff in Eagan train their Indian replacements. I have seen so many co-workers sitting and crying at their desks while the company brings in outside consultants to help boost morale with condescending cheerleaders to make you feel guilty for your own unhappiness. "Where is YOUR 'mood elevator' today?" A decade ago, we had nice cubicles where we had room to work. Over time, individual workspaces were reduced, and reduced, and reduced, to a point now where you are not even allowed to have a picture of your kids at your desk. And for what??? All that space that once allowed people to have a comfortable work area now just sits empty. Literally empty. Where the workstations used to reside have been turned into nothing but empty carpeted areas. It is clear that this historic company is just being carved up at sold at auction so the Thomson kids can live extravagant lifestyles—completely numb to the suffering they cause their employees. STAY AWAY!!!

Pros

Big, global org - so opportunities to work in different areas of the company. Good initial Covid response.

Cons

--Layoffs happen every single year and is now the go-to tool in Q4 to hit numbers. Company leverages a culture of fear of job loss against employees. --Old tools that don't work and aren't enterprise-wide. --Internal leadership survey results are ignored or hidden. --Subject matter experts are ignored. --Constant issues with internal tech. --Limited advancement opportunities. To move up or get raises it's common practices for people to leave the company and then come back at a higher salary for the same role. --Toxic culture - lack of diverse and female leaders. --Constant reorgs. CONSTANT. --new 'flat' hierarchy means no promotions.
