Pros

If you join the Portland lunch click, you go far grow wide. Lunches are from 1030 until 2 pm. And you can get all the overtime you want. Some of the guys are banging down 3800 hours a year. And hardly ever show up to work. Busy baby sitting.

Cons

The leadership has a temper. If you cross him, you're out the door. But if you go drinking with him. And he slaps you on the face. You and 3 of your bestys from work will be getting a free trip to Japan. All you need to do is get him to down a few beers, and he turns into a country and western song. Something about drinking beer makes his clothes come off. But watch out. He likes to start bar brawls when drinking.

Pros

if you enjoy banging your head against the wall all day then this is the company for you.

Cons

I worked in field service for over 10 years banging my head against the wall. shame on me. then when things started to go down hill for the company the management decided let's start firing people. they have a write up system based on false pretenses. upper management even told an employer I was trying to get a job with something false about me- I didn't get the job. I was told a manager at Tokyo Electron had some nice comments about me. now I'm leaving some nice comments about the managment and this terrible company.

Dishonest and unethical

Pros

Great bonus, get to clock more hours than you actually work, 2-3 hour lunch breaks, and you are almost instantly considered an expert on tools when dealing with customers(usually a month on a tool means you’re an expert in TEA standards) which can be a good resume boost.

Cons

Lying to customers is frequent, H.R. is clueless on what happens in day-day operations, management is very inconsistent in every aspect, nepotism is huge and is one of the biggest drivers of success within TEA, there’s a good “ole boy’s club” that makes a hostile work environment in certain locations, certain experienced FSEs know how to manipulate management/H.R., many teams across the country are not ethically friendly, one team had an experienced engineer that got every new young black employee fired that was on the team, procedures are poorly translated or terribly written, and little to no home life if you are a traveler.
