Pros

Flexible time and beer in the break room. Holiday events are fun and yearly conferences in Las Vegas drives up moral. Preaches cloud and big data very well.

Cons

Sales model is not sustainable. Groups within groups causes an imbalance in resource availability. No proper performance evaluation process. Many are always on edge of loosing their jobs. Afraid to go after large accounts because there is not enough resources to actually get the job done. Many good people leave while the bad ones stay and get promoted.

Pros

People are very talented and they want to believe in the message of the play books that the owner puts out on a yearly basis.

Cons

CEO-He does a good job of spinning a message about how important everyone is but all of his actions says otherwise. He is very unethical and will slander people for the good of him and only him. The company is set up for a few people to make a lot of money, while the majority of the employees make ok money on the back of their hard work. The company will have a hard time keeping its talent and over the last 2 years has gone thru over 100 employees which is huge for a small company like Trace3.

Pros

Relaxed office environment. PTO isn't tracked. Annual Vegas trade show. Sales and engineers get paid above industry standards. Some growth potential from entry level roles onto sales teams for motivated people.

Cons

The only people who have ever mattered are sales and their engineers. Operations is a meat grinder with high turnover and no career growth potential. Inside sales will NEVER make the jump to sales, unless you go to another VAR. Engineers are good, but overpaid by industry standards. Engineers are the life blood of the company, but HR has a horrible reputation for finding IT talent for either internal or to fill the professional services bench. Hardware sales is the main focus, not professional services. Too many under-utilized engineers and project managers just collecting a fat paycheck and not contributing to much. No 401K matching. Just marginally OK health insurance. More of a corporate type atmosphere is ruining the culture. Engineers and other employees are leaving to other VARs constantly.
