Pros

Cant think of a single one. Okah, here's one, working here did teach me what NOT to look for in future employers.

Cons

Greasy owners and management that promote a dishonest workplace....anyone who does well at this company has traded their moral compass for a few bucks. The base "salary" isnt even enough to keep gas in your car and food in your stomach. Disgusting and unprofessional work environment.

Pros

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to work here, I've tried and I cannot think of one positive to working for Triple Crown.

Cons

To start, as mentioned in other posts, all posts that are positive are written by employees in HR and by employees that are harassed to do the same by HR and the owners. The ratings were extremely low so all employees are hounded constantly to write positive reviews to artificially inflate the ratings. Triple Crown sells their employees on lies, they will tell you within 3 years you can make 100k which is an absolute lie and they know it’s not true. After taxes, you’ll be making about what an employee makes at a fast food restaurant hourly. Of the 100 or so employees only about 6 actually make money and they’re the team leads. In order to help themselves those same team leads box you out from making any real money even though they’re supposed to be trying to help you learn. What would have been my first deal was snaked away from me by my team lead so that they could make an extra $35 a week. Aside from the lies, they treat you like a little kid by constantly threatening employees with “write ups” for no reason, its very childish. About once or twice a month there will be a company-wide meeting where the two owners will critique everyone for everything they do and will make up new incentives that they never follow through on or just make them ridiculous so they aren’t attainable. They like to dangle the carrot just out of arms reach. The management and ownership is terrible, the two owners will intentionally attempt to humiliate you in front of your whole office and call employee’s horrible things. This was the first job in my life I’ve ever heard or seen owners act so unprofessionally, calling employees terrible things and degrading them when they ask questions or ask for help. Which should be expected since you’ll receive virtually zero training. The team leads are enabled and allowed to coast whenever they want, they often leave early and show up late most days. Although its normal business hours you will be pressured to come in early and stay late. Also prepare to have your previous day analyzed and publicly scrutinized every morning in the morning meetings. You will constantly see new employees be hired and then quit (wisely) within a couple months, for every ten new hires about seven quit before their first-year anniversary. Within a few months of working here you'll realize that just about everyone hates it, originally I was shocked when i realized about 80% of current employees are actively looking for new jobs.

Pros

It's a decent entry level sales job if 1) no one else will hire you and 2) you want to experience what a sales environment SHOULDN'T BE.

Cons

Where to start? Management likes to play favorites - talent and productivity don't come into play. They like to praise those who conform to the maniac-frantically-dialing a phone stereotype. I've been a top producer at every other company and every other sales role I've been in. I did okay here in the 6 months I worked here but while my teammates respected my abilities and fought to get me more opportunities, management favored "their people": ie, people who'd been there longer regardless of talent, skill or work ethic. (Two of the owners are from Boston and having worked in Boston myself, this is a common cultural trait sadly.) God forbid you might give your most talented people the best (or at least additional) opportunities. This is the only place I've been where longevity was 100% favored over actual productivity (and professionalism, for that matter.) I consider almost everyone in management here to be of below-average intelligence - and I can't stress that enough. To be fair, they worked hard when they launched the company and got lucky feeding off the energy of other lowly people that lack independent thought... that's why this company still exists. If you're a hard worker and have a knack/love of sales, take my advice: work somewhere else. This is literally the worst place I've ever worked. You're not in control of your own destiny; you're at the behest of stagnant-minded leadership. At no other place have I felt less valued as an employee - no matter how well I was doing.
