Pros

I love what I do! It is rewarding work that feels meaningful and fulfilling. I work alongside the most amazing teachers who genuinely care about all children and directors that support one another. My District Manager Meghan Detavs is a true definition of a leader, she motivates me to do my best, recognizes and appreciates staff efforts and brings dedication to her role every day. She truly wants her staff to grow and succeed in their roles. Best team/district hands down!

Cons

Workdays can be busy and fast-paced, but it’s well worth it. Anything for the kids!

Pros

- building relationships with children and families - free food - staff events such as potlucks and Jean Day - being able to customize your own classroom

Cons

- management is terrible. There's a different set of rules for each employee - work/ home balance is bad. Sometimes you have to take work home - low pay, high expectations - they move around teachers and children all day - very unlikely chance for advancement in the company - front desk staff are very gossipy and tend to be rude

Pros

The facility itself is nice

Cons

- The company is only interested in profit, regardless of the cost to the children and teachers. If I were a parent, I would never send my children to this school. - The class sizes are frightening. Teachers have no choice but to rely on yelling and threats to manage the classroom. Students and teachers are constantly being shuffled to different rooms to remain in ratio. - Sometimes the cook will be stuck in classrooms in order to give teachers breaks. The cook doesn't have the training and units required to legally watch the children. Furthermore, it keeps the cook from serving food on time. - The school is understaffed, and the staff is underpaid. Teachers are overworked and undercompensated. It's disgusting. - Even if you have a fever and are throwing up, they will not permit you to go home. Children and your health are put at risk, because management refuses to hire more teachers. - I witnessed two teachers have full blown nervous breakdowns during a shift. - Prior to accepting their offer, I checked the glassdoor reviews and chose to ignore the many negative reviews left by previous employees. I was desperate for money. Please don't repeat my mistake. There are many childcare facilities you can work at; don't choose this one.
