I t does not matter how good you are at your job you're not going to get a raise unless you're a member of the clique. If you're okay with somebody else taking credit for your work and your accomplishments, then this is the place for you. Issues discussed in confidence with HR tend to leak back to the wrong people. It's a hostile work environment for outsiders, you'll find out that unless member of these cliques that you're not welcome in this organization. Its a conniving work place where people get what they want and justify any and everything to that end.

Sometimes it can be very, very slow placed - which can make you bored and less motivated. Salary is pretty low, and raises are not easy to come by. They are getting better, but they still have ways to go. Also, there are a good amount of typical disgruntled, bitter state workers.
