This place sucks

Pros

Nothing, the place is being destroyed by management on all levels. The only good thing is the shared culture among employees in how terribly the company is being managed and how pointless the RTO is. It’s really gone downhill ever since Richard Davis left.

Cons

- RTO push is making everyone angry. It’s a blanket approach that makes no sense. Everyone is frustrated and wants to leave. They called back people who were hired in as remote and had it in their offer letter, which is just unethical. - They implemented a prison check system to make sure you’re going in 3 days a week by monitoring badges, basically admitting that nobody wants to be in the office. - Upper level management is disconnected with where emoloyees are at. - Upper level management does not care about any employee or what their thoughts are. They continually ask for feedback, then continue to gaslight everyone on your feedback. - Upper level management is continually trying to hide things or just flat out lying. Nothing they say can be trusted. - They are now trying to cram everyone into less space and make it a “Neighborhood” shared space. They claim it’s for collaboration, and will not just admit that this is to downsize real estate to save them money. Nobody wants to be in the office, and they don’t want to pay for it, yet they’re continuing to push it by gaslighting everyone and hope that we all accept it.

Pros

None No longer a great company under current leadership

Cons

Forcing permanent remote employees into an office even if they were always remote and were never told they would have to come in 3 times per week Standardizing job titles to unrecognizable meaningless titles in your field without regard to differences in grade, experience or responsibility No individual recognition, everyone on your team gets same promotions at same time regardless of experience or performance and only managers receive awards even if their team is doing all the work

Was great until recent push to return to office

Pros

Stability, career opportunities within the bank, work/life balance

Cons

Raises were incredibly minimal this year. Upper management (Andy/CEO & Mark/CTO) spear headed pushing for return to office and has now made it part of performance reviews despite the majority of employees being against it. It’s understandable that some jobs can benefit from in office, however it doesn’t make sense to force roles that work individually to come and sit in office to do the exact same thing while encroaching on their work/life balance and increasing expenses.
