Pros
One nice thing is that if you don't like what you're doing as a driver there is likely something else that will work for you. I started on the dollar tree account out of Savannah Georgia; it was a lot of work hand unloading the trailer but good pay. I went OTR solo, that sucked. Teams probably earn most of the miles and loads with this company. After a few weeks OTR I made a quick phone call and that day I was given 5,000 dollars to relocate to Indiana to be on a dedicated Wal-Mart account, home daily, earning a base pay salary of 950 a week. Not bad for a first year rookie. ..Safety is big with this company, I recommend it to anyone starting out. Trucks are good and new, well maintained. I've heard they may have changed their idle policy but the temperature based idle policy was a huge downside and enough of a reason to not go back there.
Cons
Idle policy. Solo OTR is not good.
