Pros

Hands down the best place to work as an RN in Colorado, good facilities, competent coworkers, evidence based practice, opportunities for growth. Excellent diversity, supportive culture and values.

Cons

High turnover, low pay, pay for parking, hospital paid $5 million to name light rail but no shuttle or RTD pass for staff.

Pros

Love the employees I work with, benefits are okay

Cons

Take advantage of employees, no paid maternity/paternity leave, required to pay for daily parking in order to maintain the newly created parking garages, no public transportation discounts as alternatives. Also not paid competitively, though they are working through a market adjustment the communication through this significant process has left a lack of confidence in it's execution. Over the last several years the upper management has become less and less focused on employee satisfaction and patient care. They have focused on outward appearance of success and constant re-branding. HR is absolutely terrible. After constant attempts to inquire about the state of short-staffing, open positions, and the promised market adjustment, all inquiries were ignored. Emails and phone calls were left without response. It is clear that the values of this company is the appearance of success at the expense of the employees, leading what will surely be to direct negative impact on patient care.

Pros

Appropriate pay and cohesive work unit, supportive of one another

Cons

Leadership is self-absorbed in protecting their positions and are threatened by discussions involving what is best for patient care. They have lost the ability to value the individuals that make operations possible: frontline personnel that continue to show up day after day, faithfully serving.
