Obsessed with perception, not fixing real problems
Pros
- Free Lunch - Some people are really trying to make the company better, but they will all likely leave soon because nobody listens to them.
Cons
- Leadership essentially forces employees to post positive reviews, to the point of requiring screenshots as proof of posting - After that did not change the company’s reputation much, they switched to clearly ChatGPT generated reviews that do not reflect the real employee experience. - The public story and actual product performance do not match. In real customer environments, the tools often fail or require heavy internal scrambling to make them work. - Acquisitions are focused on optics rather than being thoughtfully integrated. There is a lot of hype and very little operational follow-through resulting in a high level of employee churn - The culture prioritizes appearance over honesty. Raising real concerns is discouraged and often labeled as negativity rather than seen as accountability
