Pros

I honestly can't think of any.

Cons

This place is a total joke! All of the new rules and regulations are insane and impossible to keep up with. Managers will protect their favorites and feed them so they will succeed even if they're breaching the code of conduct. HR doesn't care because they are protecting the managers and they're all in it together. HR girl is clueless and should be fired! They make their own rules and allow cheating and stealing accounts on a daily basis and then they cover up for each other. They also don't drug test but that doesn't matter as long as your manager likes you, nothing will happen. This place is so pathetic. They will destroy you!

Pros

I wish I could say pros. There were pros when I first got hired 2 years back. No pros any longer

Cons

This place has turned into a HUGE JOKE. Nothing ever changes here unbelievable. When VZ took over they left all the unqualified managers and HR people around. These people should have been let go, retrained VZ way, or placed into another position within the company. It's crazy to think VZ spent so much money buying what it use to be called Fleetmatics but also bought incompetent people to be in charge. When there are legit issues going on especially against the code of conduct, these people brush it off like it was never brought to their attention but yet they have no issue targeting others who work hard and fire them over dumb things...oh but keep those who continually violate the policy there...wow amazing. I had contact HR, VZ Hotline etc and NO ONE DOES ANYTHING. It kills me that VZ has these policies in place and say no tolerance place but lol you have the same people always violating this and yet you keep them even after HR and VZ themselves have been told things going on. There are certain people that should not be there working in the Rolling Meadows office. I wish I could mention their names but I cannot. Drugs are being done during work hours, drinking at lunch coming back trashed, sleeping with managers to get ahead...you name it the list goes on for eternity! Do some investigating for real instead of saying you are but really arent. Stop lying! Vz lost some really good people because of these managers and HR people in place either by leaving on their own or getting fired for something so stupid.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. You’ve alluded to some pretty concerning behaviors, that require attention outside of this platform. I’ve shared your comments with our Chief People Officer who sits in the Rolling Meadows location. He is open to a confidential discussion if you are willing, so he can understand more.
