There is a bullying mentality within management; they fail to uplift employees and instead keep them down. The plant's atmosphere can be demoralizing over time. Morale is consistently low here. Management is promoted because they have been there awhile not for skills and leadership qualities.
Internal disputes between operations and maintenance are incessant, further diminishing morale and keeping the plant from moving forward. Problems on all levels are seldom fixed; instead, band-aids are applied to maintain operational flow.
The training system, is subpar. Environmental issues are overlooked, housekeeping is virtually nonexistent, and Aging equipment lacks proper maintenance.
