Pros

Leadership taught me so much more skills in the restaurant and really fine tuned my service skills and showed me how to work apart of a 5 star establishment. You really learn what it takes to work in a 5 star resort.

Cons

My experince with the Wynn, got hired at wynn was going to work in their new pop up restaurant. Restaurant was suppose to open 1/2024 didnt open until 4/2024. Managment told us it would be open for one full year. They quit the concept 4 months early and are last day of service was 12/2024. We were suppose to transfer to another steakhouse and start training MID JAN 2024, 1st call a week before to tell it was delayed, 2nd call a week later to tell us we are laid off. 3rd call about 2 weeks later to say we are hired again. Went back to work 3/2025 and completed training. Delayed us 2 week after training we returned to work on the dining floor APRIL 2025. November 2025 told us IN PERSON (15min before dinner service started), to say that we will transition to antoher outlet, that the concept of the steakhouse was going to be permanent and we found homes, and convinced a lot of people with high senority to stop applying for new outlets. our last day of service was 1/13/2026 and training started 4/2026. 4/12/2026 they sent a email saying training started 4/30/2026. They sent a email 2 days before training to say it was delayed and they dont have a date to come back. 5/15/2026 they had a call with the whole team to say that training is delayed and they dont have a date to come back, and they were taking no questions. That’s my full experinece at the WYNN.

Pros

Paid lunch. Free events (sometimes). Chill environment. Nice coworkers. Stable job.

Cons

Pay isn’t the best. Politics is real so growth is competitive (more so who you know and popularity contest). They’ll drain you dry of your work ethic without so much of a thank you or acknowledgement of well deserved compensation or promotion. Just another cog in the machine. Their internal operations are an absolute mess. I don’t understand how this company has been operating this long with lack of proper planning and strategy. Or at the very least the people who own their projects not understanding their goals and what’s needed. Everything is last minute and priority which stresses everyone else’s workload unnecessarily. And the people who have been here for some time refusing to understand change because “we’ve done it like this for as long as I’ve been here” is really sad to see and experience.
