Pros

The best thing about working for eMazzanti Technologies is that, even if your next job is flipping burgers at a fast food joint or cleaning toilets, you will APPRECIATE how much better life is when you're finally freed of that hellhole. The day I quit competes with graduating college and my 21st birthday as the BEST day of my life.

Cons

I have always prided myself on being an ambitious and very hard working employee, but Emazzanti left me feeling taken advantage of and, frankly, abused. The management has no concept of work/life balance and expects extraordinary, almost inhuman dedication to the job – in exchange for poor compensation and benefits, no flexibility or understanding of the demands of life outside work, being endlessly micromanaged, and no appreciation at all for how hard you do work. I am not even being hyperbolic in comparing this office to a sweat shop; the owner doesn’t care if you’re ill, or if there are 2 feet of snow on the ground, of if you have a personal emergency, you are still expected to be available for work, but don’t expect to be compensated for your time! In spite of being a technology company, you will still inconveniently receive a paper check on payday—but not a minute sooner than 5:00 PM. I could go on about the company’s lack of ethics and integrity towards its own customers, but if you’re reading here, you most likely are interested in the work environment above all else. In which case, I have two words for you: STAY AWAY!

Pros

this is a perfect place for you if you want to get sick or want to get anxiety attacks on daily basis.

Cons

There is no work/life balance, what so ever. CEO loves to micromanage everyone. He loves it so much that often times I've seen him micromanaging the cleaning crew and Virtual Assistants. Company started hiring Virtual assistants since professional and NORMAL engineers are not willing to stay here for more than a year (tops). There was one positive review which I found hideous in which person commented and I'll quote "this is a business a guy started with nothing in his apartment and 10 years later is an award winning Microsoft Partner". Let me tell you this, This company was Microsoft's Gold Partners once because of the great engineers who had numerous certifications from Microsoft. This company lost the gold status since the turnover rate has grown frightfully. This company talks about getting hands-on experience with latest technology but reluctant to provide direct deposits. Because of these paper checks, staff used to go to banks during their lunch time to deposit these checks which CEO didn't like and came up with a evil genius idea to handover paychecks at 4:50pm so people can't leave the premise even during their lunch time. CEO buys lunch for the staff so he can keep everyone in the office and keep stressing them out while they eat.

Worst Experience of my Life!

Pros

The owner is an equal opportunity employer. He employees Nigerians, Haitians, Dominicans, Sri Lankans, Eastern Europeans and any desperate soul sent by the United Nations Unemployment office.

Cons

He treats them all like garbage! The owner is now on a campaign to hire and replace the staff that has walked out on him, but that's what happens when you treat your employees like dirt. If you don't believe me, look at how may openings for the company are posted on Glassdoor. These are positions that need to be refilled. If you work here, you will be micromanaged, disrespected and expected to work around the clock-all for peanuts. Please read all the reviews and find the commonality and underlying message in them. One positive review says that 1 slacker wrote all the negative reviews- well that slacker would have had to create 16 different email accounts to have done so. Not! Glass door only accepts one review per email account. No, the negative reviews reflect the abysmal atmosphere in the office which is a reflection of poor employer treatment.
