Pros

Awesome team and leadership. Very open to new ideas and ways to do things better! Fast-paced environment as the company experiences a ton of growth. Super BUSY, but I personally thrive in an environment where there's always something to do. Leadership is also very good about making sure their team has good work life balance. Very flexible for life outside of work and they trust you to get your things done. A lot of autonomy here.

Cons

Always room for improvement at a fast-growing company! Some things are still pretty manual (as least in TA), but again, they are very receptive to feedback and making things more efficient as we grow. PTO could be better (only 15 days starting, but you do get 6 days of sick and safe time in MN which is a plus).

Pros

Growth, opportunities for advancement, work/life balance, integrity, diversity (3 female executives), great culture. I have worked here about one year and love it.

Cons

Being a new company, some people haven't heard of nVent or shy away from pursuing career opportunities here, even though we have been in business a long time and have stability.

Pros

The pay is good. No weekend work. Overtime is available if you want to make extra money. Office work environment.

Cons

Poor management and general lack of understanding on management’s part in regards to the amount of work that can be done in a day. Overtime is pretty much expected. There is a lack of structure and training. Toxic and unhelpful work environment. Fellow employees constantly undercut and talk about other employees behind their backs. There is no accountability for your work and there isn’t a clear idea of what is expected of you. I had 3 different managers in under 9 months.
