We are proud to announce that Arup has received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for the third year in a row! The Corporate Equality Index is an annual assessment of workplace equity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, as the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equity. This year, Arup joins 545 major US businesses that also earned top marks. Top-rated employers took concrete steps to establish and implement comprehensive policies, benefits, and practices that ensure greater equity for LGBTQ+ workers and their families. The detailed rating criteria fall under these four central pillars: Non-discrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families, supporting an inclusive culture, corporate social responsibility. Our firm deeply values the diversity of our membership. We aim to create and contribute to equitable spaces and systems as well as foster an inclusive culture where everyone has a sense of belonging and feels comfortable showing up as themselves.

We are proud to announce that Arup was honored for the second year in a row with three Diversity, Equity & Inclusion awards issued by AEC Advisors as part of their 2023 KPI Survey and included in their 2023 State of the Industry Report. The awards recognized Arup’s Gender Index, Race Index, and the total combined index based on our firms’ revenue size and demographic makeup. Arup was the only firm in its revenue size category to receive all three awards again. AEC Advisors is a leading M&A and corporate finance advisory firm for the Architecture, Engineering & Consulting (AEC) industry and their KPI Survey compared 310 AEC firms to represent the broader industry makeup by revenue and market share. At Arup, we make equity, social justice, and inclusion a fundamental part of how we shape a better world as well as aim to create an environment that embraces our differences and celebrates our cultures. This award demonstrates our dedication to progressing towards our EDI goals and we are delighted to be recognized for our efforts.
