This month, we brought more than 600 of our HQ team members and store leaders together in person for hashtag#AthletaWeek, a first-of-its-kind experience centered on connection, collaboration and setting the stage for the year ahead. Together, we deepened our commitment to Athleta’s mission, took a hands-on approach to innovation in our brand and performance product, and celebrated the incredible team members who embody the Power of We at our third annual Golden Cowbell Awards. And because movement is at the heart of everything we do, we closed out the week with our annual Athleta Quest—exploring fitness experiences from yoga and pilates to dance, pickleball and kickboxing, strengthening team connection along the way. Athleta Week was more than an event, it was a reflection of the energy, purpose, and collective strength that will drive us forward in the year ahead. We’re grateful for every team member who brings our mission to life and excited for how we’ll put this collective energy in motion in 2025 and beyond!
Women’s sports are experiencing an unstoppable surge—record-breaking WNBA viewership, sold-out arenas, and now, the rise of the Unrivaled Basketball. At Athleta, we’re proud to be part of this momentum by expanding our Power of She Collective with two incredible athletes: Lexie Hull and Kate Martin. Lexie and Kate embody the strength, resilience, and leadership that define our community. As part of the Power of She Collective, they’ll help shape product innovation, mentor the next generation, and drive meaningful impact alongside fellow Athleta athletes like Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky. As part of this announcement, we were thrilled to continue our work with Girls Inc. of Greater Miami, supporting young girls through mentorship and access to sports. Earlier this week, we hosted local youth at the Unrivaled league matchup, giving them a front-row seat to the power of women in sports. 🚀

Gap Inc. recently released its annual ESG report, highlighting some of the meaningful impact #TeamAthleta achieved in 2023. Athleta launched its limited-edition Athleta Girl back-to-school collection designed in partnership with Simone Biles. The line features 15 items designed to help girls ages 6-12 feel inspired and confident wherever the new school year takes them. The new back-to-school collection marks another major milestone in Athleta’s landmark partnership with Biles, which was announced in 2021 with a shared mission of inspiring the next generation of girls. Biles’ new signature collection features an assortment of versatile activewear styles with unique branded trims, matte and soft sheen finishes and on-garment affirmations like “Use Your Voice,” “Courage is Your Superpower” and “Because I Can.”
