It's #WomensHistoryMonth, and we're excited to highlight the talented women of Avangrid who help power connections in the communities we serve. Today, meet Rebecca Marino, VP of State Government Affairs at Avangrid. Rebecca credits her grandmother, one of the first women elected to her town government, with teaching her about public service and the importance of building strong relationships. "I come from a very long line of women leaders," she says, "and I'm very fortunate for that." Thanks for all you do Rebecca!

⚡ Happy National Lineworker Appreciation Day ⚡ Today, we extend a huge THANK YOU to all of our lineworkers who help power connections for homes and businesses throughout the communities we serve. Celebrated annually on April 18, National Lineworker Appreciation Day honors the men and women who risk their lives to build, maintain, and repair our nation’s electrical grid. Their work is demanding, often dangerous, and happens around the clock—through storms, extreme conditions, and emergencies—to keep the lights on when we need them most. We are grateful for your dedication, skill, and commitment to safety and service. Thank you for all that you do. 💙 #LineworkerAppreciationDay #ThankALineworker #PoweringCommunities New York State Electric & Gas Rochester Gas & Electric Central Maine Power Company United Illuminating
