Since joining Best Buy more than 12 years ago, Daniel has embraced opportunities to learn and grown from change. He’s held seven different roles across three stores, including supporting the launch of curbside pickup during Covid in 2020. This year, he achieved his goal of becoming a general manager at 30 years old. He now uses his passion and experience to lead an entire store team. “What a beautiful journey it has been as a GM so far,” Daniel said. “I could not be more grateful for the opportunities that have come my way.”
As part of our Digital, Analytics & Technology team, Rob feels empowered to embrace his unique skillset, not adapt to a rigid framework. “I wake up every morning just excited for whatever it is we’re going to accomplish that day,” he said.
Hannah, a supply chain HR representative, highlights how supporting team members makes her role especially rewarding. “My favorite part of the job is our employees,” she said. “The people here 100% make my day.”
One of Best Buy’s values is unleashing the power of our people. For Rich, that means using his adaptability to create new experiences that customers value. “It’s challenging, but that’s what makes it fun. … Whatever your skillsets are, it's a fun place to be,” he said.
Throughout her career, Janae has experienced meaningful connections, collaborative experiences and valuable growth. She highlights how Best Buy is both a place to enjoy work and build lasting skills.
Best Buy has selected Jason Bonfig, the company’s Chief Customer, Product and Fulfillment Officer, to succeed Corie Barry as the next Chief Executive Officer at Best Buy. Barry will step down from her roles as CEO and member of the Board at the end of Q3 on Oct. 31 of this year. Bonfig will also join the Board at that time. Click the link below to read the full story.

As a Geek Squad manager, Ben witnesses Best Buy’s development culture firsthand. He's seen employees start as a cashier and work their way up into leadership roles within a store or even at the corporate office.
Elizabeth joined Best Buy as a seasonal sales associate. Thirteen years later, she uses her role as general manager to help her team develop. “I’m able to actually pay it forward and see the growth in the employees I work with,” she said.
