Always have a goal in mind! That is how Shamadi Dominguez Vera has found success at Bosch as a Logistics Analyst. "Bosch has supported my development by providing a clear growth path. Through this I can set goals for the next role I aspire to have in my professional career," shares Shamadi. Her transition from temporary to full-time employee opened doors to leadership opportunities that strengthened her communication, adaptability, and strategic thinking skills. After a busy day at Bosch, Shamadi is all about self-love and balance with her personal life. "What keeps me inspired outside of work is my family. My biggest motivation is my daughter. Meet Kathleen Egan, a Senior Brand Specialist at Bosch! Kathleen helps shape how people perceive and experience the Bosch brand in the U.S. by leveraging the rich history of Bosch in the U.S and working closely with our B2C brand teams. Over her 10 years with us, Kathleen’s career has helped her grow in directions she never would have imagined when she began. After starting as an HR Generalist, she supported projects across various HR topics before moving into her new role. Since joining the team, she supports multiple projects, including the first ever U.S. Bosch brand campaign. “Time truly flies when you get to work on such a diverse range of exciting topics every year.” Thanks to Bosch, she was able to follow an unusual but exciting career path, including completing her master’s degree in Management, Leadership, and Strategy during her time with Bosch. Outside of her role, Kathleen’s impact goes far beyond the job description. She’s a creative force, whether performing on stage, showing off her trivia skills, or sharing stories about her newly adopted cats. We’re lucky to have her energy, creativity, and passion on our team. Congrats on 10 years, Kathleen!
For Senior Change Coordinator Tracy Rosol, Bosch is all about the people. For almost 10 years, she has been using her excellent communication and organizational skills to thrive in the work she does. "Bosch = Family! Regardless of the division or role, the connections are strong. We work together, know one another personally and there is always a smile, a hug or someone to connect with as you walk through the halls. It doesn’t feel like work when you get to visit with friends." Even stronger than her people skills is her talent for horticulture. "You’ll often find me in the greenhouse or in the garden where I grow 50% of the food we eat. I have 20 chickens, 15 fruit trees, 50 yards of blackberries, 25 yards of grape vines and countless other thriving food producing species on our property."
From the brewing industry to Bosch, that's the story of Justin Riopelle. After returning to school, he pivoted and made a career as an HR Business Partner. "I’ve found that my previous experiences equipped me with a unique perspective and set of skills that have been valued here at Bosch." Though his career has changed, Justin has kept a hands-on approach and a learning mindset. "There are a few projects and initiatives involving automation and digitalization within HR that have challenged me to learn new skills and to focus on more strategic initiatives." For his family, he applies that to house projects, using his trusty Bosch saw.
"What really keeps me excited is the connection Bosch has with its local community. I just spearheaded a successful partnership between Bosch and Plymouth Canton Community Schools to bring engineers into the classroom as innovation mentors. The technical work keeps me engaged, and the local work keeps me motivated," says Calibration Engineer Julian Gabriel. With a rich history of mentorship at Bosch—going back 11 years when he first joined as an intern to create a partnership with FIRST Robotics—Julian embodies the spirit of innovation. He draws his inspiration from friends, family, and especially his partner Rachel. "My community keeps me grounded and gives me the encouragement to make a difference. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Plus, it’s great to have a couple of friends when you’re looking to go climbing or do an escape room! "
"Being part of the development process for such an innovative product is both exciting and rewarding. I continuously learn from the talented product managers and engineers at Bosch," shares Rotational Development Trainee Noah Kranz. With a diverse skill set, Noah excels in automation tasks and has an adventurous spirit. "Before joining Bosch, I spent four years in the Air Force flying on MC-130Js, exploring Europe, Africa, and South Asia."
Roula Adonakis is an inspiring Program Officer with the Bosch Community Fund, making a difference in our local communities! “It’s incredibly motivating to support local STEM education and environmental initiatives that, in turn, positively impact students and teachers for a brighter future," shares Roula.
