Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC) today announced that three leaders within the Company have been selected among 100 recipients to receive the Women in Manufacturing STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Ahead Award from the Manufacturing Institute for 2022. The STEP Ahead Awards honor women who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their careers and represent all levels of the manufacturing industry. Did you know...Brunswick absorbs approximately 4.7 million recycled plastic bottles annually in its boat manufacturing process, preserving 7,000 balsa trees each year – a 25% improvement on Brunswick's impact on natural carbon sinks prior to the use of PET bottles.
Exciting news! Last week, Boston Whaler held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the reopening of our Flagler manufacturing facility in Florida. This expansion will increase capacity by 40% and bring more than 400 jobs to the area.
