Capco Houston was excited to host Bring Your Kid To Work Day to give our children a hands-on, visual, and educational experience. We hope this event inspired each child to obtain higher education and to think about career goals. More specifically, the children engaged in a Lego #STEM project, completed business development and training activities, created a project, experienced a mock interview, listened to partners speak on corporate structure, and bonded with their parent in a professional setting.
Toward the end of 2021, Capco Impact Consulting Group partnered with Year Up on a North American pro bono project. This project involved the development of an alumni catalogue to support Year Up’s alumni network of 20,000+, whose information was spread across multiple data sources and therefore not easily searchable or translated into presentable formats. As a result, Year Up required a database/tool which can host all consolidated alumni data and which is scalable for growth. Over the course of this project, the Capco team provided a dedicated project team to support Year Up with analysis, documentation, and recommendation for an alumni catalog. This pro bono consulting project is one of the various global skills-based volunteering opportunities we have as part of Capco's Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
