Last Wednesday, Cascades Canada ULC held its semi‑annual meeting in Kingsey Falls, bringing together more than 500 Cascaders at Parc Marie-Victorin. 🌿 It was a meaningful moment to reconnect with colleagues, share ideas, and come together as a team. The meeting provided an opportunity to present our strategic directions and priorities for the months ahead, all in a spirit of collaboration and collective engagement. 🤝 These moments are key to strengthening our unity, deepening our commitment, and moving forward together with a shared vision. They also inspire us to continue innovating, thinking ahead, and dreaming bigger—together! ✨
As part of Canadian Biodiversity Week, we’ll be hosting activities like conferences in our facilities—and for the first time, launching a Cascades Bioblitz! 🌎 All employees are invited to observe and photograph the biodiversity around them (plants, insects, birds, fungi, and more) and share their findings on iNaturalist. 🦋 Around twenty ambassadors will also support the initiative across our sites. 👏 It’s a great way to reconnect with nature and show our commitment to sustainability. 💚 📷 Step outside, explore, and share what you discover!

Cascades Moulded Pulp - Rockingham Celebrates Two Years Accident-Free Cascades Moulded Pulp - Rockingham recently marked a significant milestone — two full years without a workplace accident — and celebrated in style with a fun-filled employee appreciation event. To recognize the hard work and dedication that made this achievement possible, the team came together for a celebratory picnic packed with laughter, friendly competition, and well-deserved relaxation. The event featured classic picnic fare, games of cornhole, and a dunk tank that drew plenty of volunteers… and splashes! Laughter echoed across the event grounds as team members took turns aiming for the target — and some brave supervisors found themselves getting soaked for a good cause. “This milestone reflects our team's strong commitment to safety, communication, and looking out for one another,” said Jaime Mendoza, Plant Manager “Celebrating together reminds us that safety isn’t just a policy — it’s a culture we build every day.” The event served not only as a thank-you, but also as a reminder of the power of teamwork and vigilance in maintaining a safe and productive workplace. Congratulations to everyone at Cascades Moulded Pulp - Rockingham — here’s to keeping the streak going strong!
On two occasions this summer and for the very first time, Cascades participated in major events celebrating diversity and inclusion: the Pride parades in Rochester, New York, and Montreal, Quebec. 🌈 On July 19, 20 Cascaders, including three from Canada, took part in the Rochester, New York Pride parade. On August 10, about twenty of them from our Kingsey Falls, St-Bruno, and Brossard units participated once again in the Montreal parade. All united by the same commitment to highlight diversity and inclusion within our communities, they also demonstrated Cascades dedication to promoting a respectful work environment. 💚
