CENTIER BANK CELEBRATES ANOTHER MILESTONE IN INDIANAPOLIS EXPANSION WITH CEREMONY AT NEWEST BRANCH INDIANAPOLIS– Centier Bank, Indiana’s largest private, family-owned bank, proudly celebrated the opening of its newest Indianapolis-area banking center with a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception on July 25. CENTIER BANK WELCOMES 2024 INTERNS Centier Bank is pleased to welcome the summer intern class of 2024, comprised of 27 students from universities in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Kansas. Interns will spend their time in dedicated areas across the bank to gain professional experience and a firsthand look at banking careers. Interns will spend time in departments such as retail, human resources, marketing, technical solutions, risk management, and more.

Centier Bank Celebrates Indianapolis Expansion with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at New Branch Centier Bank proudly celebrated the opening of its 7th Indianapolis-area banking center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception April 10. The new branch, located at 6210 Allisonville Rd. opened in early March, kicking off the multi-branch expansion Centier Bank has planned in the Greater Indianapolis market. Centier Bank’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, Mike Schrage, along with Indianapolis Market President, Troy Kafka, Regional Sales Manager, Ben Studebaker, and Branch Manager, Ann Grace, welcomed members of Indianapolis’ business community, local chambers, and nonprofit organizations to the celebration. Schrage addressed the attendees, thanking them for joining in the celebration and for their community support.
Michael E. Schrage, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the opening of a brand-new banking center located at 9728 W. 133rd St. in Cedar Lake on April 29, 2024. Centier Bank has served the Cedar Lake community with an in-store Strack and Van Til branch for the past 11 years. Schrage said the community has grown so much in the last decade and he wanted to open a new, stand-alone branch with additional space and amenities for clients to bank comfortably.
Centier Bank recently donated $7,500 to TradeWinds Services as part of an annual corporate sponsorship commitment. TradeWinds is a Merrillville-based agency serving individuals with disabilities across all age groups. The organization provides family support, skills training, and various learning opportunities aimed at enhancing self-sufficiency and overall wellbeing.
Centier Bank recently presented a $65,000 gift to United Way of NWI, impacting nine United Way agencies across Indiana as part of its annual Workplace Campaign. The donated dollars are a sum gathered by associate contributions and a corporate gift, and will impact approximately 600,000 individuals throughout the state, helping serve more than 100 local United Way programs.
