Recently, Citi Equity Capital Markets hosted its 12th annual Private Growth Conference with over 50 companies and nearly 150 investors in attendance. The market has been challenging but we are seeing strong interest in private capital formation. As more startups partner with banking advisors, we are seeing those challenges turn into opportunities. For companies big and small, we continue to take a client-centric approach and support them at each step as they grow to their full potential.
This month we hosted Make It Make Sen$e – a conversation for Black business owners in the Fifteen Percent Pledge’s Business Equity Community to talk about financial challenges that Black entrepreneurs continue to face. Founder of the Pledge Aurora James and panelists Michael T. Pugh of Carver Federal Savings Bank and Citi’s Harold E. Butler, Jr. discussed mentorship and ways to help close the racial wealth gap.
As part of our 18th annual Global Community Day efforts, #CitiVolunteers from across the firm came together in New York City with Bloomberg, packing over 200,000 meals with U.S. Hunger.
