We are proud to help support OneSight, whose mission is "to bring eye exams and glasses to the 1 in 7 people on our planet who lack access to vision care." This week OneSight held clinics for the Chicago Public School children, offering free exams and glasses to hundreds of students. Combined Insurance helped support this effort as their corporate sponsor, and several of our employees gave their time to volunteer. Pictured from Combined are Shay Gin, Sarah Pomatto, Jasmin Zamora and Allison Walsh. Check out this blog post from OneSight about how their donors make a difference. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQh8q
'Tis the season of giving... Combined Insurance continued our founder W. Clement Stone's commitment to giving back to the communities in which we live and work during the USO of Illinois Sweet Home Chicago Care Package Event. Volunteers from the USO of Illinois and Combined Insurance came to our corporate office today at Triangle Plaza to fill care packages for the members of the Unites States Armed forces who are deployed during the holiday season. We filled the packages with snacks, shampoo, toothpaste and other health items, and hand written notes. Thank you to everyone who helped connect our service members to home and country during the holiday season!

"For me Hispanic Heritage Month represents recognizing and honoring the struggles and sacrifices of so many before us so that people like me can have the opportunity to achieve our dreams and goals. In particular it is important for me to recognize the sacrifices of the immigrant community in the United States, such as my parents, who had to leave their home country to establish roots in the United States. They insured we maintained our traditions, culture and language for which I will be forever grateful. I am able to visit my family in Mexico and fully enjoy my Mexican culture.”-Rocio Calderon, Education Trainer at Combined Insurance
