Perhaps one of the most inspiring New Year’s resolutions we’ve heard so far comes from Tony Krueck, Vice President of Wireless at Cox Communications. Tony was diagnosed with kidney cancer in August 2022 and will be using his personal story to help others this year. “Through a miraculous chain of events, I was cured,” Tony said. “This was made possible through a proactive body scan…through my personal journey, I became a strong advocate for proactive scans for early detection of serious health issues. I plan to continue my involvement in working with Cox and other organizations to make proactive scans accessible, and focus on other causes related to cancer."
Do you have New Year’s resolutions? Whether you’ve got a crisp new 2023 planner, a Pinterest vision board or simply a mental list, keeping track of your personal and professional goals for the year is a worthwhile exercise. We spoke to several Cox employees and leaders who inspired us with their 2023 resolutions – people like Virginia, a project manager at Cox Communications. "I started at Cox during 2021 in a primarily virtual environment. I really enjoyed connecting virtually with my team and believe Cox does an incredible job facilitating those connections, whether they be online or face-to-face. However, this year, I am really looking forward to sharing in-person experiences with my team through volunteer events, visiting markets or simply connecting over coffee in the office."
Hey, awards are wonderful. We’re always grateful for positive recognition. But to us, the most important thing about workplace awards – like Top Workplaces USA, Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For, and PEOPLE's Companies That Care – is that they’re based on feedback from our people. We really love that. Click here to explore recent recognitions.
