The Cumming Group team was thrilled to walk the Evermont project site last week alongside Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and our project partners BRIDGE Housing Corporation, Coalition for Responsible Community Development, Primestor Development, and Suffolk Construction. Evermont, a mixed use-development which sits at the historic corner of Vermont and Manchester in South LA, will provide 180 affordable apartments for seniors and families, retail stores, a transit plaza, and a Los Angeles Metro training facility in a historically marginalized and under-resourced community, where 78% of residents earn low to moderate incomes. Our team is proud to be providing construction management services for such a transformative community development that will directly impact the lives of South L.A. residents while providing a hub for community growth—we are grateful to be a part of such an incredible partnership that continues to invest in the future of South Los Angeles!
Our San Diego team attends the California Polytechnic State University career fair in San Luis Obispo. SLO is ranked top of the list in construction management programs, and we are proud to have hired many Cal Poly SLO alums. We love bringing our SLO alum team member subject matter experts to the Cal Poly SLO career fairs because they always land instant connections with current students and program staff!
