We are excited to announce that DISH has successfully integrated and validated end-to-end 5G connections using the industry's first O-RAN compliant FDD radio, developed by MTI. We’ve also reached an agreement with MTI for Open RAN radio units to help support the deployment of our nationwide network. Two big wireless updates! This week we announced a long-term agreement with Crown Castle to lease space on up to 20,000 communication towers. The deal is vital to enabling out buildout of the first open, standalone and virtualized 5G network in the U.S. We’re also partnering with Qualcomm as they expand their vast 5G portfolio – ranging from smartphone to infrastructure – to include O-RAN specifications that are compliant with our open network architecture and implementation. This week, we announced that DISH has acquired Ting Mobile assets, including customer relationships. We also announced that we have chosen Tucows as a technology partner for our retail wireless business. With a strong history of innovation, Tucows will help us deliver the excellent service our customers expect.
Our Boost Mobile team knows that every vote counts, so they've launched the next generation of our voter registration campaign, "Step Up to Vote." This nonpartisan initiative is aimed at helping reinforce the importance of voting and providing tips on how to navigate the registration process.
