Recently, some of our headquarters team hopped on and went out in our community to Do Good! We spent the afternoon helping the Washington County Foster Closet. This non-profit provides clothing and items a child needs when they are removed from their homes. Their goal is to provide foster, kinship, and guardianship families with the items they need so that the real focus is on the social and emotional well-being of the child.
This past weekend, some Delta Defense LLC team members participated in Pulling for Honor, benefitting our friends at Old Glory Honor Flight. Despite torrential downpours, our team pulled a FedEx cargo jet 12 feet in 9.85 seconds, earning 5th place out of 30 teams!! Way to go, Team Delta Defense!

This week we ended a company wide wellness challenge, and the results are in… *124 participants making up 31 total teams *61 individual participants who successfully "climbed" Mt. Everest *6 teams who had all 4 participants reach the goal (24,500 points) *Points amongst all participants totaling 4,105,726 - Which is the equivalent to reaching Mt. Everest 167.5 times The winning team members each get an extra PTO day and an additional $250 award to our existing $500 “Make it Personal” employee benefit. This allows team members to choose how they spend these dollars on personal fitness, home office items or personal protection. Way to go Team Delta Defense!

Our friends from the Allenton American Legion Post 483 stopped by our headquarters recently. We were happy to support their efforts locally with “Wreaths Across America.” December 17th, 2022 is National Wreaths Across America Day, their mission is to Remember, Honor and Teach and is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 3,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. Our local team will be at 8 of our local area cemeteries on December 17th, 2022. Remember our fallen U.S Veterans. Honor those who serve. Teach our children the value of freedom.
Some of our Learning and Development Team members, wanted to help the community today! For their Team Building event, they wanted to share their talents and their Get $hit Done! attitude with our local ReStore. Habitat for Humanity's ReStore locations play an important role in supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission.
Saving Lives in Another Way! In true Delta Defense fashion, several of our employees at HQ donated the gift of life during our Versiti Blood Drive this week. We were able to collect 28 Whole Blood and 3 Double Red life saving donations, exceeding our goal! Versiti, Blood Center of Wisconsin serves more than 50 hospitals across Wisconsin and we were thrilled to host our first post-pandemic blood drive. Special thanks to our Wellness Champion, Katie P. for coordinating the event and to all of our donors! #DonateLife
