In honor of #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, we are proud to team up with the American Cancer Society and help sponsor their annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event in Phoenix, and we would love for you to join us! As we wrap up the last week of #HispanicHeritageMonth, we are recognizing Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Sonia is the first Hispanic and Latina member of the court and has been serving since 2009. During her collegiate career, she made it her mission to fight for the rights of Puerto Rican and Hispanic students by founding and leading multiple activists groups. During her time serving on the Supreme Court, she has been identified to call for reform of the criminal justice system, and making impassioned decisions on issues of race, gender and ethnic identity. Through passion and determination, leaders like Sonia have broken barriers and paved the way for others to chase their dreams and to do so while embracing their cultural history. #LifeAtDriveTime #HispanicHeritageMonth

We are excited to announce Chase McDonough will be joining the DriveTime family as our new Assistant Vice President of Corporate Development! In this newly created role, Chase will be focused on expanding our product offering within the auto retail and consumer lending model, and to adjacent related businesses. Chase is an experienced investment banker with a deep understanding of the auto and consumer finance space, extensive transactional experience, and a passion for learning. In his previous role at Wells Fargo, Chase led financing arrangements across a wide range of sectors including auto, credit card, student lending, handset, solar, and whole business securitization. He also has experience working on both buy and sell-side M&A transactions in the consumer finance sector. Chase attended UNC Chapel Hill, where he was a recipient of the Chancellor's Scholarship and earned a B.S.B.A. in Business Administration and a B.A. English. October 5th is known as both World Teacher's Day and Child Health Day. As part of our corporate responsibility initiative, we are excited to celebrate this day with our community partners. We recognize Child Health Day to raise awareness on the importance of protecting and developing children’s health. We partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities and Phoenix Children's Hospital each year to do our part in supporting ways to improve children’s health. We also honor teachers around the world today and thank them for the encouragement and impact they have had on our lives and shaping our future.
