Elsevier is at Women of Silicon Roundabout in ExCel London, tomorrow Tue, June 25 and on Wed, June 26. Elsevier’s Tech Lead for its eCommerce Platform, Emily Middleton, will be speaking at Women of Silicon Roundabout on Wednesday, 26th of June at 11.30AM about “a different approach to building a performant, supportive team”. Emily will lead an informative discussion on how companies should look beyond specific technologies or years of experience and instead focus on hiring smart, engaging people from all backgrounds. She will also discuss the benefits that #Elsevier has seen with this approach, what makes the resulting teams so special, and how interview processes can facilitate this. There, we will launch our #BeAnInfluencer campaign at Women of Silicon Roundabout. As part of this campaign, we are recognizing true influencers of our industry - from those whose centuries’ old work is still called upon today, to those who will influence our future.
