Nick was recognized for his "intentional commitment to engaging employees at every stage of the employee experience."
Happy International Day of Charity! By encouraging a culture of volunteerism, our teams strengthen their local communities. Here are some highlights from 2023: USA: Thirty Enterprise volunteers helped build a home for a family in Central Florida. The group also presented a $75,000 donation from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation to Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County. Canada: In support of Food Banks Canada – a Fill Your Tank partner – 50 volunteers in Canada came together to pack over 2,500 healthy food sacks for children experiencing food insecurity over the summer. Ireland: Enterprise volunteers helped to plant almost 5,000 trees in Dublin in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, as part of our Urban Tree Initiative and 50 Million Tree Pledge. United Kingdom: UK Groups raised over £1,000,000 for BBC Children in Need in our five-year partnership through creative fundraising initiatives such as a gala dinner, golf days, and more. Spain: Working with Amigos de la Calle (Friends of the Street), Enterprise employees prepared more than 750 bags of food for homeless people across Valencia. Germany: Lichtblick Hasenbergl is one of many organizations across Germany which benefits from our partnership with Children for a Better World. We've donated €30,000 every year since ROAD Forward’s inception. France: Our employees partnered with Gravir pour Grandir for a youth mentoring program in the mountains, helping young people to become more confident.
Brielle shares an inside view of what it's like starting as a Management Trainee at Enterprise. Her advice for other women interested in the Management Trainee role is to "go for it and be confident. Be a voice that matters; that's how I’ve come so far with my promotions and done a fast-track process myself. Being with the company for two years, I've always been a voice for the women in my group."
