Our Retail Regional Management team recently came together to assemble and deliver care packages to four charitable organizations across our footprint: Decatur Salvation Army, Galesburg Rescue Mission, Rockford Rescue Mission, and The Youth and Family Center. A huge thank you to everyone who helped support these essential community efforts!

First Mid is proud to have earned a Top Workplaces USA award for 2024. Top Workplaces USA celebrates organizations with 150 or more employees that have prioritized people-first cultures. Winners of the Top Workplaces USA award are chosen based solely on employee feedback gathered through an employee engagement survey, issued by Energage. Over 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in the Top Workplaces USA survey, and only 1,531 companies were recognized with the award. Results are calculated by comparing the survey’s research-based statements, including 15 Culture Drivers that are proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks.
